Praying the "Gospel on a String"

Our parish's third Rosary procession in honor of the Feast of the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
We were treated to a beautiful sunny day, a prayerful devotion to Our Lady and an authentic Mexican feast, plus time spent making and renewing friendships, playing  football, and enjoying dessert.

My assistant photographer Molly who captured so many of these beautiful pics.
Pray for us, Holy Mother of God, that we may be worthy of the promises of Christ

The Prayers of the Rosary are from the Gospels.
As are the meditations:
The Annunciation of Mary by Angel Gabriel
The Visitation of Elizabeth by Mary
Nativity of the Christ Child
The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple
Finding the Christ Child in Temple
Baptism of Christ
Marriage feast of Cana
Proclamation of Kingdom of heaven
Transfiguration of Jesus
Institution of Holy Eucharist
Agony in Garden
Scourging at the Pillar
Crown of thorns
Taking up his cross
Crucifixion and death
Resurrection of Jesus from the Dead
Ascension of Jesus into Heaven
Decent of Holy Spirit
Assumption of Mary
Crowning of Mary as Queen of Heaven

The past two years' celebration to see how this even has grown for our small parish:

It reminds me of our Rosary March when I was young.
