HMNS Museum Days Again

New school year means more time for Lilly and me to explore the Houston Museum of Natural Sciences while the bigger kids are in science day classes.
HMNS has stepped it up, world class Egyptian Section in the new wing on the third floor! I was very impressed. A must as a field trip when studying Ancient Egypt.
The older kids were treated to a tour of the Egypt exhibit in the morning class sessions, after they dissected a cow's eye. The conversation on the drive home was all about the components of the eye. One of the groups were able to see some interesting animals, Euly touched a hissing cockroach (not sure why) and Ceci pet a baby hedgehog. Cool day.
