Knights of Columbus' Prayer for Boy Scouts

Heavenly Father, we ask you to look upon all members of the Boy Scouts of America with mercy and compassion.  For over 100 years Scouting in America has brought young men and women closer to You by teaching them the virtues of serving others, stewardship of Your creation, and respect for one's body, mind, and soul.  Through the Scout Oath all Scouts pledge their duty to You, to others, and to keep themselves morally straight.  The ultimate point of the Scout Law is to be Reverent towards You with all other points leading toward that end.  Because of the virtues espoused by the Boy Scouts of America it is now under attack by worldly and immoral forces and we need Your divine assistance.

 Lord, have mercy on us
