Another outing with our Girls/Boys Group for a Thanksgiving Feast with old fashioned fun and games.
Many of the kids dressed up as Indians or Pilgrims.
They played games from soccer, stilt walking, bobbing for apples, old fashioned dancing, churning cream into butter in a jar requiring team work for constant motion, a pot luck feast and a beautiful prayer of Thanksgiving. They also shared poems memorized, or told stories prepared for this day.
I know I'm especially thankful to blessed by this group.
