{pretty, happy, funny, real}

~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

Things we find to occupy us during hours of piano lessons and music classes:
(especially on rainy days when we have to stay indoors)
watercolors and hair salon have been a big hit for Cc this week.
She likes doing Lilly's hair:

Wish I could bottle the imagination and non stop energy of a seven year old.

Cc showing off Lilly's latest 'do
(don't know the story on the glove)

Euly is spending time with her friend while both are attending a local heritage museum's pioneer camp during the day. They play non stop, and have to be worn out, but get hungry late after dinner. They decided to make cookies. I said I was a little tired for making cookies and they assured me they could handle it all. Throw a couple extra hands with little sisters in the mix and everyone is happy. It was fun to watch them, they even cleaned up afterwards.

Lilly is trying very hard to perfect the raised eyebrow.
She puts all her concentration, holds perfectly still and slowly raises the right eye brow.

A full batch should have yielded more than 12 cookies.
There must have been more snacking on dough that I realized.

  1. What lovely girls and yummy looking cookies!

  2. Thanks! They made yummy peanut butter cookies.
